A great start to the season last night, but alas, unfortunately, not a win.

Harley’s-A were on formidable form making them look, frankly, a bit overqualified for our mediocre league.

Everyone in high spirits however, and it was a great game to be wrapping up my role as Captain Chaos.

After almost 3 years at the helm – due to growing pressure from my “business trips” – it’s time for me to hand over the mantle to Don - whose darts & demeanour will doubtless be example to us all.

In 6 years of playing for the team I’ve seen it evolve from the unbeatable Bamboozers on Tongren Rd to 3D Art Bar in Hongmei Lu, to Plan B (yes this was once a bar), to the loud music and cheap beer of Windows Scoreboard, and now – to our present venue – The Park Tavern.

During this time I’ve met loads of good friends, had some proper good laughs and ruined all manner of professional responsibilities on 6 years worth of Wednesday mornings. Today has been no different.

Without being too sentimental & weird I’d like to thank all of you for making it so much fun, as with all of these things – it’s the people that make it – the darts are really secondary to seeing you characters over a few cheap brews.

I will be back in June to rejoin the team as VC, but for now need to prepare for one of those business trips I was telling you about, in Thailand, on a boat. I know. Even Benji - Rich’s dog - looked doubtful when I told him about this last night.

Right. That’s it. See you all in June if I don’t get eaten by pirates.

- Voted the new committee for the 2010: the new committee will stay as: Andy Ge (President), Icy Wu (Vice President), Ivan Zhou (Secretary).

- Issues of new season:
1. Voted and through switch the single (501) and double (801) game from one game to best three games only for A league.
投票通过更改A组单打及双打比赛场数，从原来的一局胜负改为三局二胜制
The rule should be: (i) All best three games only throw the middle at first game to decided who throw first; (ii) When a male player against female player in the single game, female player allways throw first.
比赛规则为：(i) 所有三局二胜的比赛中，只在第一局比赛前通过投掷红心决定先后手；(ii) 单打比赛中，当男子选手对阵女子选手时，女子选手总是先手投掷。

2. Voted and through put more game play for the A league to keep balance between three divisions.

3. League will start to build the score sheet system online this season. Paul, Kali, Curtis and Andy will be charge on this project and working for free for the league. But before start using that system, all the team still should sended the excel scoresheet by email to scoresheet@shanghaidarts.com before 0:00 am of Friday morning. No more picture's scoresheet, no more scan's scoresheet and should sended from both team of game night. Any scoresheet did not sended before 0:00 am of Friday morning will be a warn by webmaster, and any team did not sended scoresheet two times will take out one team point as punish.
